The first Minacciolo factory was opened, and rapidly grew in response to market demand.
The Tolà collection was born; original country-style furniture that was reminiscent of moods from Provence, England and Umbria-Tuscany.
Minacciolo launched the ‘English Mood’ collection, which was hugely successful right from the outset. Country-chic became a sought after trend, allowing this style of furniture to gain a following also in the realm of urban design.
The Minà and Natural Skin collections were born, reinterpreting fully contemporary designs with originality and individuality.
The company found a new lease of life thanks to a project that completely revamped its image, leveraging on the synergy between artiginal craft and industrial scale production to allow rapid expansion in foreign markets.
Minacciolo only uses material from natural sources, rejecting materials made using chemicals or plastic. In fact, all the furniture is made using exclusively solid wood. In addition to being beautiful and high quality, the furniture is therefore free from formaldehyde emissions, which are damaging to health and the environment. The company also stands out for its work surfaces, using only natural or sustainable - also very elegant - materials, such as Cocciopesto, marble, metal and cement.
The solid wood used for all Minacciolo products is always top quality. It comes exclusively from controlled reforestation plantations, and so has zero impact. The insides of the furniture, in addition to being from engineered solid wood, can also be made in panels of wood composite. In this case it is always exclusively class E1, which is certified in line with current health and safety regulations as having very low formaldehyde emissions and therefore completely harmless. Minacciolo only uses PEFC certified wood to create its products. This certification guarantees that the wood comes from forests that are entirely sustainably managed.
To stain its products, Minacciolo only uses water-based varnishes. These varnishes don’t change the pleasing look and feel of the wood, and considerably lower the risk of toxic emissions, completely in keeping with CEE regulations. In addition, the company does not use harmful solvents or adhesives on its own production lines. Even the glues uses are certified as having very low formaldehyde emissions.
